Thomas Jonte is the STEM/Education Librarian and Coordinator of Instruction and Information Literacy at the John C. Pace Library at the University of West Florida. He coordinates the library's teaching and instruction practices, and liaises to the Hal Marcus College of Science & Engineering and School of Education.
Prior to joining UWF in 2023, Thomas was a Faculty Librarian at Pensacola State College where he was the Lead Library Liaison, taught research methods, and created educational tutorials. He has also worked as a youth services librarian in Florida and South Carolina, specializing in musical story times, book clubs, and STEAM education programming.
When not in the library, he is likely running (slowly), scouring eBay for comics, eating hummus, or playing Odama for the Nintendo GameCube. His greatest ambition in life is to do a kickflip.
Thomas lives in Pensacola, Florida, with his wife and cat.
